EuroSunday Miami - After talks with Able from Driverevelotionen we will be starting EuroSunday Miami. This will follow the same format the EuroSunday had become known for. Keep an eye on this post to find out about the upcoming events and rallies.

We will need volunteers for the new event - Parking coordinators, Video/Film (2 people), Photographers (lead, second lead, and 4 additional), Journalists (2 people), Parking help (2 people), Media contact person, Rally 4 Kids event help (7 people), and Forum help (13 people). We have received several emails about the web link not working. At this time we have pulled the website down temporarily as the organizer we had for the event has pulled out.

Once we have an organizer for Miami again we will reactivate the website and continue to grow EuroSunday in Miami.

We have a location for our first event. We will be meeting at

There will be a caravan to the event which we will post details in the following days. The event will follow the EuroSunday format of meet and greet and be followed by a drive and lunch for those who wish to participate. See links below for parking info and drive info.

Participants are invited to have lunch any time between 10:00am and 2:00pm. After 2:00pm there will be a drive and a Photo Shoot on the beach. Actual drive and destination details will be disclosed at the event.

Hello Everyone:

Our first Miami event is now over. The day started off at area 7:00am for the staff who cordoned off the parking area in front of Pizza PIOLA. The first cars arrived at 0900, with several more joining soon after. Jorge was in charge of directing parking, while Oscar and his Team were in position for snapshots of all the attending cars.

By 11:00am we had a nice display with 4 Ferraris (360, 430, 612 Scaglietti and 308QV), 2 Lamborghinis (Diablo and Gallardo), Ford GT-40, Porsches, 1 Bentley Convertible, Acura NSX, AUDI’s, BMW’s, Lotus Elise, and a few sport bikes to cap off the list.

It was a rather hot day of (88+F), but there was still a great showing for our first ever event. The majority of the group gathered for lunch at Pizza PIOLA where they enjoyed chatting with fellow gear heads. After lunch the group drove to Hollywood Marina for a great photoshoot. Several of the cars are now the highlight header images for EuroSunday Miami.

Next EuroSUnday will be 3/30/08.

EuroSunday’s main event for March has been changed to Sunday 3/30/08.This change is because the original date of 3/23/08 is Easter Sunday (My useless knowledge- Easter falls on the first Sunday following the first full moon that occurs on or after the day of the vernal equinox; the vernal equinox is fixed as March 21. There are some highly technical rules for determining the actual date of the full moon, but when you take all this into account the result is that Easter can never occur before March 22 or later than April 25 and will not be celebrated this early in the year for another 220 years)

All the usual EuroSunday event activities will be taking place (including the Breakfast Club), but all will happen on 3/30/08 at the TGI Friday's on 14891 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL, 33181 in Miami.

Breakfast club – 9:00am – 11:00am for those who want to talk cars before the event.
Main event – 11:00an – 1:30pm – Drive and photo shoot afterwards.

We apologize for the change in dates but we want to make sure we had all of our team available to direct cars and take some great photos at the event.

The turn out for this month’s event should have a great mix of cars. We have also taken all the feedback from everyone and have incorporated it this month’s event.
