Hi, buster56

The numbers are the chassis numbers, which are located on the ID plate in the drivers door jam. You can cross use parts from other years and models. It helps find parts in some searches and for cross referancing. If you have any other questions let me know.

 

I know this is an ooooold thread, but was wondering if you might have the A/C compressor mount for that W108 (I have a 1970 280SEL that needs one). I'll need the entire "mounting system" - mount, tensioner pulley and hardware.
