New to MercedesForum.com and thought I'd post. I live in Los Angeles and I'm looking to buy a mercedes diesel that fits the following description:

1) Year: 1981-1985
2) Mileage: under 200k or close to it
3) Model: 300D, 300D Turbo or 240D (no wagon or coupe)
4) Mechanically sound w/ working A/C (ideally 134 upgrade)
5) Cosmetically sound (no rust or major issues, clean dash)
6) Interior leather: light color (beige), not the dark colors

If you know of or own a car that meets these guidelines and are looking to sell it, please let me know. It would have to be reasonably close to LA for me to check it out. I'm looking to spend between $3,000-5,000 depending on condition of the vehicle.
