Hello there. My name is Ian, I obviously just joined these Benz forums in order to sell this car. But I myself am a Volkswagen enthusiast, and frequent the VWVortex message boards/forums. Anyways. This car is a 1979 Burnt Orange 280CE with approx 250k on the clock. Unfortunately the speedo does not work. And the odometer stopped as well. And we were told by the original owner that it stopped about a year ago. But it hasn't recieved much driving since then, its been sitting in a garage. But when we purchased it, all necessary maintenence was performed to it. The engine starts up perfectly every time. And has no running issues. The body is in GREAT shape, the paint has indeed faded on the top half of the car, but all in all, the car with some TLC could be a great candidate for a beautiful vintage benz.

The problems:
The transmission sometimes can't shift out of third into fourth. And the speedo/odo no longer are functional. And the control arm bushings need to be replaced. But besides that the car is mechanically sound.
