I have an E-Z TOP Electric , It is 110v powered.
I have tested it and it works great. It has been stored for a few years, after my mother-in-law sold her 380sl

According to http://www.eztop.com it should fit 1972-1989 450 SL, 380 SL, & 560 SL.
Other lifting brackets are available to fit other car models.
