I 'm selling a White 1982 300SD Diesel Mercedes. $1000 or best offer. The car is located in Malvern PA.

The car has over 330k miles on it and had been my daily commuter for 5 years until the summer of 2010. The car runs and starts well, but will need some work to get it to pass inspection. The mechanic saw some rust on the frame and said that he couldn't pass it unless it was reinforced in a couple of spots. He was able to poke a small hole through the undercover near the suspension mount on the front driver's side. The brakes also need some work - they were fine up until inspection, but the car sat for about a year and last time I drove it the pedal was really soft & I didn't have braking power.

I recently put a new stereo it got (4) new perelli tires last summer as well. A new battery was put in last week.

I did some work on the vacuum modulator last summer and the transmission (original) seems fine. I also replaced the fan clutch & adjusted the rack pin damper last year which did away with the rough idle. All the power windows & sunroof work, but some of them go up and down pretty slowly. The Blower motor needs to have the brushes replaced -I have the new brushes, just haven't put them in yet. The leather in the driver's seat has worn though is a bunch of places.

I'm a recent parent & just bought a new house - I love the car, but I think it's time for me to put my mechanics tools away for a while.
