A overall good condition, "barn-find" unrestored 230SL comming out of dry storage. Red with black interior. Desirable 4 spd manual transmission with both tops. The highlight of this car may be its very solid body and unmolested originality. Floorpans, trunk, and unibody has limited rust. A few small rust holes in edges of floorpan, and some scale rust at bottom of spare tire well. Repaint is faded, but original paint on dash, door jams ect. is in fine condition. Note crack at top of front grill and slight dent in grill bar. Unknown mechanical condition...engine turns over easily and oil looks good. Has not been started or driven in several years. Note dents in both front fenders. All panels appear to be original, including front fenders. No evidence of any rust repair or replaced panels. RH rear taillamp chrome rim is cracked.
