hey everyone looking for the cover for the third brakelightcover for my 03 clk500. let me know whats upp. pplz

 

I had to replace mine too without replacing the light fixutre, did it myself, cheap!

bought a clear ruler from Walmart (any flexible plastic will do, about 1/8 " thick).
make a stencil of the cover shape (trace along the opening on the trunk)
cut and filethe plastic it to shape of the stencil.
use 3m tape from an autopart store to stick the plastic to the out sideon the trunk.
make sure u have tape covers the entire opening to prevent water sipping through.

total cost $16, time 1 hour.

i stick some chrome window tint on mine, it looks great shiny.
since the brake light illuminates red, no problem.
had it for 4 months now without any problem, love it, looks better than original red cover.
