What you're describing sounds like normal operation and not a problem. MB has written logic into their engine and transmission control units to decreas the amount of time it takes to warm up the engine, transmission and fluids. The way they achieve this is by increasing the time between shifts, thereby slightly increasing engine RPMs, which results in the components warming up quicker. This allows the computers to enter into closed loop faster, which is when theignition and fuel timing is based off the oxygen sensor signals. Once thecomputers enters closed loop mode emissions arereduced.Hope this helps!
