I own a 1989 300E. Over the weekend one of the intrument panel lights came on. I misplaced my owners manual and I am lost as to what this light is. It's one of the lights on the lower left hand strip of lights. I beleive it's to the right of the "battery" light. If I had to describe it it looks like a cirlce with 3 dots on either side. The light is not on steadily but has popped on several times. I also noticed a significan dimisnished acceleration and the "ecomamy" fuel usage gauge was doing straing things. Any help is greatly appreciated in identifying this mysterious instrument light.

hi this means your brake pads have worn down and need replacing.have just looked in my handbook.hope this helps

may also be low brake fluid level ,easy to check there is sometimes a test button on top of resorvoir
