1967 Mercedes 300 Front rotors/Grey Market?
Hi:
I just purchased a 67 Mercedes 300. Although the letters on the trunk indicate it to be a 300SE, I believe from the info I have read online that it is likely an SEL as I don't think that there were any 67 SE's. I am trying to replace the front rotors and none of the available rotors match what is on the car. I have tried 4 different sets of rotors that should fit this vehicle. My supplier says that this may be because the vehicle was originally a grey market Benz. There are no casting numbers on the rotors. They are solid, not vented. Any ideas as to what I can do to locate and replace these rotors?
Thanks,
Damien

opps ...i have a 68 250 se with 280 engine rebuilded
i think if you have 300 is around 1970 up .if you have the vin # on it and go to the dealer they have the information
try to see the rotor edge have the size and the brand such like the ate or taxter,if not... try the brakes caliber brand and have the right match rotor ...
67 use to have 250 280 only....
