Not sure where you are , but you can try contacting Mervyn Wright in the parts department at Jackson's of Poole . He is pretty clued up on these models and will do mail order .
Well done on keeping your car so long . I have had a W111 220S for only 18 months or so and a W105 219 'Ponton' for the past 26 years
I know where there are a few M180 engines lying around - so if you're stuck , come back to me .
