Just when we thought a 102-inch plasma was the ultimate TV, Matsu****a/Panasonic pulls ahead by an inch. Check out Matsu****a's 103-inch monster monitor.
The sign in Samsung's booth at CES may still boast that the company has the "world's first" 102-inch plasma TV, but rivals Matsu****a Electric Industrial (AKA Panasonic) have added a whopping inch to their biggest display, giving them (for now at least) the title of world's largest plasma. Unveiled at CES, the prototype display has a 1920x1080 resolution and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. And now that they've been beaten, we hear that Samsung is going to leave that 102-incher out with the trash when they vacate CES this weekend.
