RE: Weird foods?
Chop suey is a dish invented in America for Americans. I didn't think you could get chop suey in Asia?
If I were starving, I'd pretend like I wasn't hungry if someone put that in front of me... and I don't even know what it is. |
RE: Weird foods?
It looks like bait or road kill stew.
|
RE: Weird foods?
Man, I dunno. It doesn't look like any of that to me.
|
RE: Weird foods?
you are right. the big picture does look better.
it looks pretty good. something i might try someday. |
RE: Weird foods?
it's really delicious for i have tried that few times... but not on hotpot.
|
RE: Weird foods?
i'll have to try it if i ever see it listed on a restaurant menu.
what type of restaurant would it be in? (chinese, japanese, thai?) |
RE: Weird foods?
I'll take your word for it. I might change my mind if I could smell it.
I guess it's a seafood (shrimp) stew? I mean, it's cooked in liquids as opposed to fried? |
RE: Weird foods?
yes seafood. shrimp balls, fish balls, some even includes clams or mussels.
the soup is good since it was cornstarch (whatever it is) thickened. a real delicacy. MC, you can find it on chinese food menu too. |
RE: Weird foods?
I'm sold. Where do I get some?
|
RE: Weird foods?
Well I like chicken livers and hearts, especially chicken hearts (gizzards as some people call em.)
But I seem to catch the most flack for eating Dog once before while I was in Korea. So much flack from them PETA people. Taste like beef with a slightly distinct flavor and texture. Very good. But then again, I am a wolf so it can't be that weird. |
