Not a very good demo that's for sure.

You would at least thought they would show the thing in motion.

Pretty cool idea though.

Specially if I could type in "QUIT RIDING MY ***!!!" LOL

JD, I think that you are missing the humor of Kajtek.... he means no one can stay close enough to read it 'cus his car is so fast.

One guy, that finally got it, but not to full extend.
Not that the car I lately drive to my project is extremely fast. The 90 HP VW doesn't offer impressive acceleration, but in some situation 90% what counts are skills.
3 weeks ago I was able to catch up Brabus on the road first time in my life. Still with dealers plates on it. Beautiful thing, but evidently the driver spend all the money on the car and didn't have anything left for schools.
Even with his unbelievable acceleration, in heavy traffic on 8-line freeway didn't take longer, than 15 seconds for him to see the rear plate of my Volkswagen.
And he didn't see it for long.
I am thinking about this scrolling display more for my motorhome, where I would use it on campgrounds.

He can't spell. That's why people can't read it.

Yeah. I am always looking for people like you on the road.
The tickets are not that expensive, but insurance raise on several vehicles can hit pretty bad.
So my technique is to wait for somebody, that drives above 90 MPH, let him/her have 1/4 mile advance and follow.
Problem is, that those hot-shoots, that can push 120 MPH on empty freeway, usually are getting lost in some traffic. So if they follow somebody at 65 MPH for over a minute, I am passing whole column and go ahead. Since driving alone, I am not exceeding 80 MPH sometimes those hot-shots will catch with me few minutes later, but often they will not.
