Is it possible to addapt our current engines for E85 fuel?

yeah. Since they won't build a quality car with good 35-40 mpg gas mileage, can i get it built myself?

I've seen conversion kits advertised, but have seen no testing of them.

hello
I have c320 and been using a mixture of e85 50% and 50% of 91 octane fuel.Add it up like 105 octane for e85 plus 91 for gasoline and divide by two =98 octane at least . I've been mixing e85 and gasoline for almost two years now and no CEL occurs.I'm not recommending others to do what I'm doing, but this is what I do for my car.
