EXCELLENT!!!

i only read a few pages of it, and i'm stucked.

it's the kind of novel that worth reading for me. got all the ingredients that i want.

you're something different charles. your name and thoughts will go beyond our time... and space. it will live time and again inside another being, and move to that dimension.

got some samples of your sketch/paintings?

Whoa! I'm honored that you bought my book! How did you get it so fast? But careful, your klind comments might fully awaken ol' Ego...

Seriously, I know I'm not a great writer...Hell, maybe not even an average writer... But it's long been my hobby....Mostly short stories... then I wrote a little book called, "Becoming The Thinker"..... Kinda' like a memo to myself... to help me keep on an even keel.... It was intended to help me let fear/anger sleep until needed, but never allow either one to run amok and fuel Ego... I don't always succeed, but that little book helped me so much that I wrote the novel based on the premise of BTT...

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.. I tried to be true.. to only wirite about places I've been to.... and the characters are mostly a blend of people I've known... All of the characters are fictious, with the exception of some characters from the Vietnam era.. They were so sterlling to me... that I didn't even change their names.... such as Jeannie and some guys I flew with, and sometimes hung out with... But most importantly, I had a great time writing it...I ended up with over 1000 pages... then cut it down to a little over 400 pages...

Re: the paintings... In 1998 I stopped taking commisions and pulled out of galleries... Partly because I had reached a painting impass.... just couldn't seem to progress beyond that point... and I was spending a lot of tme writing.... But I had a few pics of some landscapes, long ago sold... none of any of the hundreds of portraits... but I can't seem to find the CD... If I do, I'll PM them to you...
Thanks again for buying my book... I hope it's not a waste of your money,

no, i didn't buy the book yet. such is dificult to find here in china. when i'm back in philippines, i will look for it.

i only read the few pages from amazon, which allows you to do it. i don't think the event is fictitious, although the characters could be. most of them happens in real life to someone we don't know who

Maybe so.. However, it seems, incest is a darkly keep secret.. I'd wager we all know someone who has been sexually molested by a family member.... But people aren't inclined to speak of it.. Yet I don't dwell on incest in the book.... It's merely the opening line which, in effect, introduces the reader to the main character's mother and father..

Hey Charles; Hope you did not take too much of my rant personally. I don't' judge peoples work, just their laziness.

That's one Hell of a way to start a book. Have you ever read the world according to Garp?
