Do anyone know anything about the 1969 Mercedes 600 SWB?

My aunt bought one not too long ago from a guy who thought it was just some old car that didn't mean anything so she got a really, I mean really good price for it. Apparently the car was pass down to this guy from the original owner and the guy didn't know anything about it so he sold to my aunt for a few thousand. Perfect condition, fully restored. My aunt is no car buff either and really could care less what she drove and really just thought it was just some nice old Mercedes to get around in. Now, me at the time was 11 years old and already a Mercedes fanatic knew about this car and the true value. I told her to keep it but she wanted to sell it to buy a new Camry. I told her that wouldn't be a smart idea. But of course she thought, "What could an 11 year old know?". I said, if you're going to give it away, give it to me. She said I was too young to know anything about cars. (How wrong she was.) So she gives the car away for pennies and buys a new camry. Years later, she finds out for herself the actual value of this $100,000+ classic and realized she handed someone a small fortune. Of couse I told her that was an idiotic decision. She should've kept it and just save up a couple of more months for the Camry. She regrets what she did and I don't blame her. Age doesn't matter when it comes to knowledge. And this is another example of a classic collectible given away.

if she had given the car to you at such age, how long before you will be tempted to insert that key in the ignition and start playing with the accelerator pedal?

i haven't seen such model yet.
