Does your MB attract attention?
Has anyone ever had a lot of compliments or receive a lot of attention from people while driving, riding or even cleaning your Mercedes-Benz? Lets hear about if you have a story!

RE: Does your MB attract attention?
It does a little but nothing like my Roush. Where ever I go it draws a serious crowd at times it gets to be a little annoying when I am trying to get someplace. Sometimes low profile is the way to go.

I live around too many hill jacks that wouldn't recognize a fine automobile if it bit them in the ***. Now maybe if I were driving a lifted chevy pick up.
I have one neighbor that drools all over himself every time he sees my MB and trys to buy it at least once year.

No, I don't think so. No one has ever said anything good or bad. People mostly stay away from it on the road and in the parking lot, which is good. people have a tendency to bully and tailgate my wife's Honda on the road, and ding the doors too.

I receive compliments and second takes a lot. I have a black, S430 with dark tint windows, metalic pinstripe with the Mercedes star emblem in the pinstripe line, S600 badge on the deck lid, v12 emblems on each front fender and chrome exhaust tips like the S600 has, 8.5 X 18, 20 spoke chrome wheels with 245/45ZR18 tires. I keep it polished and clean. It is what I want in a car.
One attendent at the car wash always tells me it the best looking car that comes in for service. It is the 3 rd Mercedes I have owned in the last 15 years. #1. 1984 500SEC, black; #2 1992 500SL, smoke silver with brown canvas top & parchment interior. #3. The 2002 S430, black with 53,000 miles on the car. I plan driving it several more years.

i don't think i would admit to switching the emblems....i don't know about anyone els but i tend to frown on that... taking them off and letting people wonder is one thing but switching is silly.... i know that if some one pulled up to my ZO6 with 505hp badges they got off of ebay on their regular corvette or up to my CLK55 with a rebadged CLK320 i would just laugh at them.....its like sticking a sock in your shorts.....its all good if you dont take your pants off
