Who here owns one?

I have a "shapeable" straw hat that I wear when I'm ridin' my John Deere. It's brand new but looks twenty-years-old. I don't have any cowboy boots, though. I have enough problems with falling down and ****.

 

And on an unrelated subject, have you seen Brokeback Mountain yet?

No, I haven't seen Humpback Mountain. There are a couple of states that won't show it. Utah is one. I'm not sure about the other. Maybe Washington?

I guess that's a "no" on the hat?

 

I just don't think real cowboys wear straw hats...

 

Every goat roper I've seen in the country music bars has one. Nice and clean like their ironed Wranglers. Posers with chew mostly. Most of them are closer to the Hollywood cowboy types than those men who make a living ranching.

Now, give me a long legged female hottie in a cowboy hat and you really have me. I guess that is why Shania Twain is sooo popular.

Um, well. I think your hat will provide adequate protection from China, North Korea, Iran, or ETs when they try to read your thoughts from somewhere in space. However, it wouldn't provide much protection from the sun when mowing the lawn.
