RE: Bad news
My hat is off...in remembrance of LUGNUT....
I am almost speechless, because I am intimately aware of just how close our demise really is. Our lives are as vapors, whisps that burn away like the morning dew. It's very precious and fragile, regardless of how invincible we think that we are! It is a sad moment. I looked forward to reading his posts, even though I haven't seen them for a minute; I still looked forward to them popping up somewhere, expressing comments that only he could and would.
I looked forward to his posts, because they were filled with technical knowledge and experience. Though he may be gone, but not forgotten, we now look forward to others' who are able to contribute in like manner. So, for others, please do not allow yourselves to fade into the landscape; LUGNUT will be missed by all who were familiar with his posts, but there is still much that others have to give. And you need to know that we appreciate you!!!
As I have coined this phrase: "Don't stop til you're done!"
LUGNUT has stopped, because he's done! RIP....

A good place to begin looking for this information is through the medical community, his Dr. a Nurse etc. frequently people who are facing diseases that are life/death impacting confide in their medical care givers. Best of luck with everything!

Sorry to hear about Allen death My original handle got banned on this forum ( I guess for not posting?) but some members will figure out what was it. I logged other handle only to be able to do some technical search here, but can't let this thread go with no response.
Sad when young people die so suddenly. I am the same age Allen was

RE: Bad news
Wow...I feel like I just met him...literally. I laughed my butt off yesterday reading through the "Post pics of yourself" thread. I made a post not realizing what had taken place until I saw a new post here this morning. I didn't even really know him and I feel like I lost a friend. It's nice there are people who can make that impression.
As another had posted, and not to sound cliché, we need to continue on. I'm guessing, but I'm sure that's what he would want.
Sincerely and with condolences to his family, online and off,
Kevin
