I'm a new member and want to say hello to all of you. I am replacing the wiring harness that goes to the oil pressure switch, starter solenoid, alternator, and another sensor or switch under the oil pressure switch.
This harness also has a positive cable attached that goes to the alternator and starter. I have a round connector with 5 wires going into it. My problem is that all the insulation is gone and I need the color of the wires and where they go. For example, the pressure switch takes the green wire and the blue wire, the black gos to the solenoid, etc. I have the connector apart and have it all wired up so I do know the colors of the wires at the connector, clockwise it appears to be, blk,grn,w,bu, not sure but I think grey. Thanks for any help, this is one of the years they decided to use bio degradible wiring, way to go M.B.

 

Where dose the positive feed come from for the alternator on a 1994 s500 can anybody please help me with that I just made up a new 5 wire harness that went bad but do not see the pos for the alternator

 

I just made new lower engine harness but I can't seem to find where the pos feed for the alternator originates from I got the car with it already taken apart thanks so much for any help
