I have a 06 c230 v6. I clearly have a vacuum leak. After a quick look, I found that the air intake manifold switchover valve is broken. I used carb cleaner in the immediate area and the motor leveled out. I have a clear hissing/sucking air sound coming from the actuator area. If the switching valve opens and closes the intake valves on the sides , why is the sound at or near the actuator? Car drives good for the most part. Just really rough idle. Any ideas? Vacuum pumps? Is there a hose in there I can't see? Idk. Just wanted an idea so I don't tear it apart for nothing.
