The plural of BMW is BMWs. The safest way to pluralize an acronym is to use it as a modifier such as, "The BMW cars."
Here, this should confuse you. The plural of:
mph is mph,
rpm is rpm.
Why? Because they are already plural.
- mph is miles per hour
- rpm is revolutions per minute
