Hi and I'm John. I have a 1986 190D axle replacement job that requires the rear diff to be dropped down to access the backing plate to access the clip that holds the axle in the differential. I can't get at or figure out what the dickens is on the other side of an 8mm hex head that's holding the front of the rear diff. I got it to spin from below but does anybody know what type of nut is on the top of that baby. I can get a 17 over it but doesn't catch. A 15 doesn't seem to work either. Does anybody know what that might be???
Thanks,
John
Thanks,
John
