I am looking at buying a 91 560 SEC that is located in OK. I live in CA and I want to know how I can make sure that this car will pass the smog test in CA. Is there a code, number or how can I know?

I am not aware of California smog laws so i cannot help. However i have a 89 560sel and Maryland has emissons testing and the car passed with just trace amounts so i would say it would pass with a proper tune up plugs, air filter simple things. Are welcome to the forum.
