I'm new to Illinois, and new to this forum. I'm in an extended period of shopping for a new car. I've cross-shopped the C sport sedans with the Lexus IS and the Infiniti G35 (strange mix, I know). I've got a growing family that will dictate the most immediate vehicle purchase be something like a Sienna or a Highlander. But, beyond that, I plan to treat myself to something nice.

I don't know if my signature block will show up yet.... but I've only had several neat cars. Among the many awesome Hondas and Toyotas, I've had some cars that probably appeal more to enthusiasts. Including:

'84 Porsche 944
'91 BMW 318i
'76 Porsche 912E
'96 Audi A6 Quattro
'90 Mazda Miata

My wife and I are the original owners of the Miata. It still resides in our garage, and serves as my daily driver.

Anyway.... hope to learn more about the C series, and make some friends here!

I forgot to mention the BMW 325i sedan on my shopping list. I guess I rate it a bit behind the others because the 318i that I had was a bit of a money pit at the end. Plus, I don't have a dealer in the local area... so there's not much opportunity to drool over them.
