Hi All!

I just bought a 2005 C230 Kompressor and thought I would introduce myself. I'm sure I will have a bunch of questions and thought the social thing would be to say hello first.

Considering a few minutes ago I just passed my first 24 hour mark, I can honestly say so far so good. It's certainly a fun car, and has a lot more pep than I expected. I think my first step is going to have to be to get a better stereo. I'm not sure if mine is just old or just a base model stereo, but it sounds a little tinny and I would like the option to at least play MP3 CDRs. Bluetooth would be a real bonus.

Yah, I have to start doing the research to determine what I can and can't do with a stereo change. In a perfect world, I would find something that integrates with the car, or at least doesn't muck things up because I've unplugged an integral part of the system. I would like MP3 capability, bluetooth integration would be nice and, the most important part, better sound quality. I believe I'm too cheap to go through the Mercedes way, but I haven't looked that deeply in to it yet. We'll see.

 

Thanks Steve, but don't worry about it. I found that in my wanderings last night as well. I'll give it some serious thought later.
