New member - Arkansas - Help
I have acquired an '81 300SD in the last week... The temperature has suddenly dropped down to the 20s...I was told I needed to "plug it in" when the temp got that low, but I CAN'T FIND WHERE TO PLUG IT IN. Can someone PLEASE help? I've scoured the owners manual page by page and find no mention of it and no diagrams... Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the car has one, it should be in the area of the radiator. I seen some that are under the bumper in a holder. But it should be easy to get to and find. Try some del gel additive. diesel gels in cold weahter, De gel works to keep the fuel fuild. I have a friend who owns a trucking company and he swears by the stuff. Most good auto parts stores carry it.
