Hi all,
New to the site and excited at possibly being a mercedes owner shortly. I'm hoping to buy a classic Mercedes it's a 1972 220 (W115) automatic in good condition. I would very much appreciate a guide as to the price range of this car. It has only 48k on the clock and has been standing, dry stored in a garage, more or less since 2001 only to be taken out annually for it's MOT and then re-garaged up to 2007 Since 2007 it's not done any milage. It's in good condition in and out, tyres seem ok but a good run would detect any flat spots due to standing idle for 6 years. I've not had it started up as the fuel system obviously needs cleaning out. I'm sure there are a few of you that could come up with a reasonable price for this car considering it needs a full service, MOT and would you recommend a cam belt replacement??, any assistance would be much appreciated.

ForcedInduction,
The 48k is genuine milage I knew the original owner, the car was handed down in the family and has not done hardly anything since. The last Mot was 2007 and the car now shows the same milage reading. What would the price range be for such a vehicle;
a) As per my description as a non runner, (unroadworthy and without Mot)
b) As per my description but after a full service, all oil/fluid renewal, cam belt change and MOT. (full roadworthy condition)
