Hi I'm new to this forum I am also new to Mercedes ownership, I have recently purchased a barn find / unfinshed project it is a 1966 250SE coupe which has been fitted with a 280SE engine (I think both the engine and auto box were repaced with the 280 units in the mid / late 70's).

I will probably be posting several questions on here as the former owner passed away and he was responsible for dismantleing every thing and now there is no one to ask where things fit.

The chassis, body and interior are mainly OK there are some items missing which I believe went for chroming and didnt come back so I need to locate several parts.

Also I would find any links to schematics of the cooling system, wireing etc very helpful.
