So I am not new to diesel, but there is a local car for sale. 06 E320 CDI 67k, designo package, for $26K. I have been looking around to get more info on the car and I have seen some EGR related intake cloggings, trans leak, and some recall items.

I love the way this car looks, but I want to make sure I am getting into something I won't regret and will be a long term "investment"(as far as cars go). Is this the right price range and is there anything I should look for specifically?

I will be able to see and drive the car this sunday.
