Hi, i'm new to forum,
I have a 2004 Cadillac DTS 22000 miles with all but two options; which I will be use for trips, it gets 27mpg; living in Florida, the air-conditioned seats are great.
I have a 1987 420 SEL, which was given to me by my daughters father-in-law.
The vehicle rode well, on the return trip from pick-up, approximately 110 miles, with the cruise set @ 80 mph, the engine is strong.
It has 111,000 + miles on odometer which does not work, I will repair it with pictorial instructions from; Dieselgiant.com.
Hood pad needs replacing, I also downloaded pictorial instructions from; Clifford T. Floeck. The internet is a great tool.
Plastic footpad on floor under emergency brake broken, I intend to substitute it with wood (this will test my woodworking abilities) carving out for e/b involved.
The plastic around the interior mirror is broken, there are two small cracks in dashboard, the front leather seats are split in a couple of places, the rest of interior in good shape, and I can live with these problems for a while.
The paint is in good condition except for a few dings, which can be repaired easily.
Glass, chrome, bumpers, and lights are also in good condition.
There is no dampness in trunk or interior floors, and no rust sighted anywhere.
Wheels are in need attention.
After all I received this vehicle for; 000$, I guess I can put a Dollar250 into it.
