I just bought a 01 C240, with only 41k on it. Classic little old lady car, dealer serviced, great deal. A couple of parking lot dings and a broken shifter bezel are all I can find wrong with it. The spare has never been on the ground, although all the books are gone.
I also own a 98 Ml320 that the wife drives, only 80k. We have had it since 32k. Great SUV, had very few problems other than the damn window switches. Recently got a new switch assembly so I'm hoping it lasts a few years.
Prior to the M, she had a 81 240D that only had 118k on the clock. Blue on blue, it had a stopping problem and of course the vacuum system was shot. Southwest US desert car, the guy from Pennsylvania who flew down and bought it could not believe there was literally zero rust on the car and he drove it home some 2000 miles with no problems.
I'm interested in gas saving and performance boosting on the 240. Also a CD changer and possibly new wheels (current are stock boring) and tires, but I have a few miles left in these Bridgestones.
