New chap
Hi,
i'm new and i'm from the other side of the pond, olde England!
I would like to say.... Hi to all of the Benz freaks on here.
I am looking for a bargain basement banger, i think the Americans call them clunkers (?)
I have had lots of different cars Fords, Vauxhalls, Toyota's, VW's, Fiats, a Lancia and several Alfa's but for real budget motoring in style nothing beats an old Mercedes, mainly the 124 or the 201 and 202 in my humble opinion. Currently looking at a C Class 202, an underpowered 1.8 with manual trans but at £350, around $500 i would guess it has to be worth a look!
I love the older ones because most other people seem not to, maybe they are afraid of the parts prices or just don't know the cars?
Maybe some of you people can tell me.
Edit: 37 views and no replies......does that mean anything?
