New to the BeNzO
I am a brand new benz owner!! I just purchased an '03 C230 black on black coupe. I'm pretty excited about it but have never had one so I don't know about the maintenance costs for one. I still have awhile on the factory warranty but what do normal parts like brakes and such cost for these? Anyone have any input? Also, are they any typical parts that have gone on anyones on here that could offer some helpful tips for me? Thanks everyone and glad to join ya!

You should take a more positive approach. Instead of planning for the worst, plan to enjoy the car. You can do that with a factory warranty and sleep at night.
Regular maintenance, including brake parts, won't break your bank account, but it averages more than a Honda's maintenance, especially if you rely on an M-B dealership to do the work.

Very good point I sure am taking a positive approach to the car and plan to enjoy everyday that I have it. I have always had infiniti's in the past so I know I will be driving a much better made car. Thanks for the feedback and I hope everyone else is enjoying their benz like me!!

There ya go.
When you ask whether anyone with the same car has any problems, people will start coming out of the woodwork to complain about this and that and that other thingie that broke. Soon, you'll think you bought a lemon when there's really nothing wrong with your car.
Just keep the car maintained and I'm sure it will be fine. And don't forget that there is no such thing as a perfect car that never has a problem.
