I'm a long-time MB owner: I've been driving an '81 240D since '87. It now has about 340,000 mi on it (+/- 2K; I had to exchange speedometers), and I'll probably keep it 'til I die. I also have a '97 E300D that is my daily ride. I'm not as happy with it and will post a question in another section, soon as Ihave the navigation right. Any comments on the past 2 yrs' bluetecs?

 

The new 08 e320 bluetech us amazing unlike the older diesels this one has performance. 0-60mph in just 6 seconds. As far as reliability you cant beat them. My father had a 1987 300SD with 170,000 that he drove daily and not once have we ever had a problem with with beside the passanger rear window motor not working. In a few years i would like to trade my 02 E320 Sport for a new E320 Bluetech.
