guys, guys. i really wasnt complaining about the car. I was complaining about the crazy prices the dealer charges for sevice. $101 an hour!!! i bought the car froma friend whos owned it since new and we knew it would need some work. just maintenance things. i was shocked at the dealer bill for a tune up and waterpump. this isnt my first used car and i'm completely aware of what to look for when shopping around. I knew what i was buying and got a VERY good deal on the car. even with the repair costs, i still paid less than book value. i'm not looking to sue anyone!lol
dealer charged me 2200 for tune up and water pump. minus a 10% discount. which came to 1880 and change. thay also told me i needed ball joints, drive shaft flex discs and an air mass sensor. total would be another $2100. so i took my car to a reputable shop in my area that works exclusively on MB, and he did the airmass , balljoints, and flexdiscs for $1000 dollars. he even changed the center bearing??? on the drive shaft(i think thats what its called), and replaced the trannymount and tranny shifter bushings at no additianal cost!. its safe to say that iwill never be going back to the dealer for anything!!
