Hi everybody and thanks to have me here
Hello everybody,
Just joined this forum. Let me introduce myself.
I am pretty new to Mercedes Benz world but not to German engineering. I have owned few BMW's (3 series and X5) and I ride a BMW K1200LT motorcycle. I live in this beautiful state of North Carolina but I am originally from Europe (from France exactly.. but no nobody is perfect right?).
In my college years (loonng time ago) during summer break I would work as an apprentice at a local garage. All of that t say that I don't mind working on my cars even many years later, which is a great asset when like me you have two daughters who have their own car and come to dad every time they have a problem
I just bought an immaculate 1992 SL 500 with 100k on it for me because the car just looked irresistible. What a stylish car! This was a one owner car and it must have been garaged all its life because it looks and drives really really good. Is there anything I should pay particular attention on a 1999 500 sl?
I am looking forward to participate actively to this forum, learn from the member's experience and share mine as I get more familiar with the car.
Thanks you all for having me here
Alain
