Hi just joined this forum on a recomendation from a friend.
Have been a merc owner for about eight years now and would be reluctant to buy anything else. i run a 1996 E300 dieselafter a very happy few trouble free years in a 124 300e.
when the fuel prices started to rocket i started to look at alternatives and after about two years research i was driving past a garage where there was a que 200yds down the road due to an expected lorry strike, when i got home my daughter inlaw told me, (she worked there) one lady qued for 2hrs and then put 40p's worth of fuel in, this was the kick i needed i went out and invested in a bio diesel making kit.
I now pull up at my own garage and fill up for 20p a lieter and have been doing so for the last 4/5 years. who's counting? with no problems. will look in again soon
