Default Hello out there!

I'm new to the site and I have already found an answer to a question I had about the climate control light and also how to fix the problem. I am hoping this will be a good resource for maintaining my 1997 C280. It has 126,000 miles but my wife loves the little car. Now if I can just locate a climate control instrument panel removal tool so I can get to the light I'll be all set. Looking forward to surfing the site and reading the posts.

It is the same tool that is used to remove the radio. I got mine of eBay. Do a search under automotive parts and accessories.

Thanks for the reply, do you know if you need two of those to remove the panel? I did a search online and it looks like they come in pairs. Does this look like the part? It's called a Becker radio removal tool.

BTW if anyone else reads this, those two tools are the right ones for a Mercedes and yes you do need both of them to do the job. Just slide them in the slots until they click and then just slide the unit out of the dash. Really easy to do if you have the tools.
