Hello to everybody. I am now the proud owner of an 82 380 sel (that skipped time[]). It's very pretty driveway art. It is my first German car, and I can't wait to see what makes it tick. Sorry to hear that it has skipped time. did you buy it that way ? or did it happen to you ?

oh...the timing.

 

I bought it that way. The price was right, and the car was in such great shape that I never even popped the hood. I have yet to pull the heads (knock on wood for some luck).

keep it slowly on cylinder head bolts.

they loose-thread so easily...the cylinder head thread i mean.
