Good Evening to everyone. I'm a new member and you can usually find me zipping through town in my 1983 280E european model.
I have been having trouble with the alternator. Someone told me that I did not have to replace the entire alternator, that there was a piece on the back of the alternator that I could replace, is there anyone familier with this process.

that depends on what's the problem with the alternator, and if separate parts are available in your area.
