I'm a new member of the forum - and we have 2 MB's - a 550SL and a new E350 Conv. - BOTH are GREAT CARS - EXCEPT for one COMMON flaw - and that is the GPS is apparantly written with "circa" 1990 software - and ANY $150 handheld - from virtually ANY brand - FAR outdoes the capabilities and display features of EITHER CAR - if I were representing Mercedes on this - I'd be embarassed!!! There are NO streat names on ANY display - there are are NO street names given for turns (with very minor exceptions) and the data entry has been obsolete everywhere else for 10 YEARS (which is an ETERNITY in electronic lives).

Anyone else have some comments on this??
