Can K&N make you run lean?
I have a 2006 C230 sport, v6 (obviously ).
I just changed spark plugs and replaced both filters with K&N air filters. I had no issues the first day but now the Check Engine light is on. I had Autozone run the codes and it said it's running "Lean."
Can the filters do that? Is it going to self adjust (i.e., like altitude changes)?
Is there a manual adjustment I need to make?
The car runs fine, and I'd hate to have wasted $120 on filters only to have to revert back to the paper ones.
