Buying Preowned E Diesel--24,000 Miles Per Year, Does It Make Sense?
I am looking to buy a car that will mainly be used for work. For some time, I have been thinking about buying a certified preowned E Class diesel--say, a 2007 or 2008 model with less than 40,000 miles. My challenge again is that this car will be used mainly for work, which means roughly 24,000 miles per year.
Given the mileage I will be putting on the car, does this purchase make sense? What am I looking at in terms of longevity and annual maintenance costs?
I am interested in hearing from E class diesel owners as to what their experience has been and what their thoughts might be. Thanks in advance to all who respond.

e class diesel, lovely strong transport, hard wearing interior, great miles per gallon, needs careful servicing but service items no more expensive than any other marque HOW DO I KNOW well my 2000 w210 has just racked up 160K miles and still purring. not faultless but still a lovely ride bill
