Default 2003 S Class headlights

Can someone tell me if the new 03-04 headlights for the S-Class will fit on the 00-02 model year without serious modification. I much prefer the clear lenes to the ones on my car (S600), but I've heard everything from "it just bolts right in" to " the shape of the hood and fenders are different on the 03-04 model year cars and it won't line up, and you'll have to change all of the adapters" to finally " it can't be done as nothing is compatible.

Can someone help with information on this, or better yet, an installer, or reseller that knows how to go about making this work.

Thanks in advance.

It can be done, no problem. There are people from MBworld.org which have already done it.

Thank you, that was most helpful. I found someone in Miami that sells the Bi-Xenon version for $2300 and will install them for free, but I have to fly him to NJ.

I need to do a little more homework before I make a decision.
