2002 E 320
I bought my 2002 E 320 in July with around 32,000 miles on her. Before reaching 36,000 I had to have the catalytic converter replaced and the rack and pinion steering replaced. Did anyone else experience unusual repairs like this on a car with so few miles?

cats are large problem on 98-2002 e classes and steering rack noise from steering both very common issues with your car. there are numerous bulletins on the steering system on you car for the fix.

yup... i've noticed that my catalytic had failed and defective, so i urgently replaced my own with mercedes catalytic converter... since replacement of this vital auto part must be properly made...that excellently fitted to my vehicle...

yes, catalytic converters go bad a lot on the 210 chassis. i work in a dealership and replace at least one if not two a month. the racks are known to leak out of the steering boots, past the seals of the end of the steering arms.
