1986 500 sel

hello everyone. I just purchased a 500 sel 1986 and have a few gremlins i'm chaseing. this is a euro model. does anyone have knowledge of the acc with regard to heat coming from the vents, i suspect the monovalve. could it be anything else? also, center vent will switch to defrost when ac is activated, not getting any air out of these vents, why? i'm also getting distributor noise through radio which is driving me nuts. also the cruise control works every other day for no apparent reason. this is a great car. tight solid and runs great, i just need to fix these problems. anyone experianced similar problems? this car only has 56,000 miles, it's been garaged most of it's life. i'm sure time has taken its tole. any suggestions are welcomed. thank you.
