Hi there. Seeking info. The window on the driver door wont go all the way down. It stops 3 inches from the frame. This just started happening. Additionally there is a nasty clunk/rattle from inside the door panel when traveling over speed bumps or when the door is closed. That rattle has been there for a long time. Both windows operate up and down slowly. Is that typical of these SL R107's?

I know the door panel will have to be removed to see what has failed. I could use a leg up knowing what to expect. Are clips going to break etc? I would like to have new parts on hand for any in this almost fifty year old car that are likely to be questionable. clips-felts etc who do you all suggest for these type of parts?
